Mackenzie Pickerrell

Executive Director

Mackenzie Pickerrell is the Executive Director of the Girl Coalition of Indiana, a statewide, girl-focused social innovation startup inspired by the six Girl Scout councils currently serving girls across Indiana.

Prior to leading efforts at Girl Coalition of Indiana, Mackenzie championed diverse roles with strategic oversight at Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis. Most recently, she served as the Vice President where she was tasked with redesigning a program service delivery model to yield a high-impact experience for participants and expanding services to young adults. Mackenzie has a deep background and breadth of knowledge across youth programs, community development, program management, and fundraising. As a Girl Scout alum and mother of a young daughter, Mackenzie is committed to empowering girls and women to be confident in themselves and in their future.

Mackenzie is a graduate of the University of Indianapolis with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Child and Youth Programs. She obtained a Master of Public Affairs with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IUPUI.
