Cassidy McCammon is an activist with a passion for youth empowerment, with a focus in paving the way for young people’s voices to be heard, appreciated, and considered in decision-making institutions. As a lifelong Girl Scout who has earned Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards, she is now the troop leader of IU Campus Girl Scouts. Previously, Cassidy worked as a Congressional Legislative Intern in the US House of Representatives before serving as the Safe Place Coordinator for Monroe, Owen, and Greene counties. Cassidy graduated from Indiana University with dual bachelor’s degrees in management + human organization and political science with a concentration in political and civic engagement. As a Community Engagement Specialist at Girl Coalition of Indiana, Cassidy serves communities throughout Monroe County.
