Cassidy serves as Community Engagement Manager for the Girl Coalition of Indiana, a statewide, girl-focused social innovation startup inspired by the six Girl Scout councils serving girls across Indiana. They lead a team of four Community Engagement Specialists across Central Indiana in creating new experiences for girls.
Prior to Girl Co, Cassidy worked as the Safe Place Coordinator for the Monroe County Youth Services Bureau, ensuring the upkeep of over 100+ physical locations across four counties to link community resources to runaway and homeless youth. Cassidy has over ten years of youth development experience, including more than five years in leadership roles. They have earned certificates in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention from the Crisis Prevention Institute, and Question, Persuade, Refer Suicide Prevention.
Cassidy is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington with dual Bachelors degrees in Human Management and Political Engagement, and is currently earning a Master of Business Affairs in Organizational Leadership from the University of South Dakota.
