Colleen Coffey Melchiorre, Ed.D. comes to us with 23 years of experience as a speaker, coach, and strategist. Colleen was most recently an Executive Consultant for the personality assessment company, Personalysis. At Personalysis, she was a leader in business development strategy, and helped clients ranging from small non-profits to Fortune 500 companies work better, together.
Prior to her time at Personalysis, she had a 20-year tenure in higher education consulting with Indy based company, Phired Up. At Phired Up, she helped fraternal organizations recruit and retain members and laser focus on results through relationships. She has been known in this industry as an expert in helping turn around groups that struggle with membership recruitment and engagement.
Colleen has a Bachelors degree in Social Work from Belmont University, a Masters Degree in Student Affairs from Eastern Illinois University, and a Doctorate in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University.
Colleen has been principal investigator on over 10 research projects and is most noted for her contribution to retention and exit voice loyalty among fraternity and sorority members. Colleen is a published author and served as an instrumental force in the creation and training of the Active Minds mental health speakers bureau, in which she still takes part.
Colleen is a passionate advocate for organ donation, neurodiversity, and emotional wellness. As such, she volunteers as a parent partner at her local Children’s Hospital and supports many initiatives dedicated to elevating care for children with congenital heart disease. Colleen has been a Daisy leader for 2 years for a mixed level troop and works in children’s ministry in her church.
Colleen’s love for humanity is contagious and she believes strongly that brining our whole, authentic hearts to the workplace is necessary.
